Strategic partnership strengthens ERG’s VOC abatement and industrial emissions control offering

ERG Air Pollution Control has announced a strategic partnership with Yurcent Environmental Technology to provide advanced regenerative thermal oxidiser (RTO) systems for customers across the UK, Ireland, Europe and the Middle East.

The partnership expands ERG’s industrial air pollution control portfolio with high-efficiency third-generation rotary valve RTO technology designed for the treatment of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) and industrial process emissions.

The systems are suited to a wide range of industries including chemical manufacturing, pharmaceutical production, coatings, petrochemical processing, automotive components and industrial manufacturing applications where stringent environmental compliance and solvent emission control are required.

Yurcent’s rotary RTO technology is engineered to achieve up to 99.5% VOC destruction efficiency and up to 97% thermal energy recovery efficiency, helping industrial operators reduce emissions while improving operational energy performance and lowering lifecycle operating costs.

With more than 1,000 installations globally, the technology has been deployed across complex industrial environments where reliability, process continuity and environmental compliance are critical. The third-generation rotary valve design uses continuously rotating valve mechanisms combined with advanced digital safety and control systems to support stable long-term operation.

Richard Hanson, CEO of ERG, commented:

“This partnership represents an important step in strengthening ERG’s capability in VOC abatement and thermal oxidation technologies across our key international markets.

“Yurcent’s proven rotary RTO technology complements ERG’s engineering expertise and process integration capabilities, allowing us to provide clients with highly efficient and future-focused emissions control solutions tailored to demanding industrial applications.”

Through its UK and Middle East operations, ERG will provide full project support including system engineering, application assessment, process integration, project delivery, commissioning, aftermarket support and spare parts supply.

The collaboration also supports increasing industrial demand for energy-efficient emissions reduction technologies as environmental regulations and sustainability targets continue to tighten globally.

In addition to rotary RTO systems, the partnership also provides access to advanced VOC concentration rotor technology for high-airflow, low-concentration solvent applications where energy efficiency and airflow reduction are key project drivers.

ERG specialises in engineered air pollution control systems including VOC abatement, odour control systems, chemical scrubbers, biofilters, thermal oxidisers and industrial gas cleaning technologies for industrial and wastewater sectors worldwide.
