ERG supplies engineered scrubbing and air pollution control systems for metal finishing and treatment processes, with each system designed for the specific duty and supplied to meet defined emissions and workplace exposure limits.
Our purpose‑designed systems are configured for surface preparation, anodising, degreasing and associated tank operations, integrating extraction ductwork, scrubbing towers and VOC removal stages to meet internal COSHH requirements and external emissions limits. ERG has experience in treating air pollution problems from a range of metal‑industry sources, including:
ERG’s systems typically include tank extraction and lip‑ducts, air extraction ductwork, scrubbing towers and VOC removal stages as part of the overall air pollution control package.
Air pollution treated in these systems includes:
All ERG’s systems carry a process performance guarantee and allow the user to demonstrate both IPPC compliance and a working environment consistent with COSHH requirements (EH40 guidance) within the factory and externally.
All ERG systems are designed and manufactured to ERG’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System. Our systems are typically built to good engineering practice, although we can design and build for CE marking to the Pressure Equipment (2014/68/EU) and ATEX (2014/34/EU) Directives where required. Vessels can be supplied in accordance with PD 5500, BS EN 13121 or ASME VIII.
ERG’s customers in this sector include metal finishing and treatment facilities, aluminium and steel processors and related industrial operators.
